Hollywood's music scene is not so alien when it comes to mixing ethnic and tribal sounds in pop, rock and RnB. Take Jai Ho from the Pussycat Dolls for example, a huge success in mixing indian native tongue with dance musics and sexy hips. An now, it's Selena Gomez's turn.
Selena Gomez‘ new single “Come & Get It” is here! The
track serves as the lead single off the 20-year-old singer’s upcoming
fourth studio album, secluded for release this Summer. Produced by Stargate and written by Ester Dean, “Come & Get It”
is mid-tempo pop track much different from anything else she’s released
thus far. The best bits are its insanely catchy chorus and the obvious
tribal influence. I can’t be mad at this at all but if you would at first, give a few tries, it'll gain up on you. Selena will performing the song for the first time at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 14 – Followed by Ellen on April 16.
What do you guys think of Selena‘s new single?
